MISSOULA - A pair of University of Montana basketball players were arrested after allegedly being involved in a fight in front of Stockman's Bar in downtown Missoula early Saturday.
Missoula Police say senior Will Cherry, 22, and sophomore Keron DeShields, 20 were involved in an altercation with Jason Snyder, 34, at around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say Cherry was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest while DeShields was also arrested for disorderly conduct. Snyder was also arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Cherry and DeShields both posted bond and were released from the Missoula County Detention Center before 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and were spotted at the Griz-Cat track meet to support runner and fellow basketball player Jake Wiley.
Cherry received the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year Award for the second year in a row to cap off his college career with the Griz.
