Mission Falls trail reopened

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes have reopened the entire 3.5 miles of the Mission Creek drainage in the Mission Mountains Tribal Wilderness (also known as the Mission Falls trail).

Back on Thursday, August 19, 2010 Tribal Game Wardens received a report of a black bear encounter on the trail to Mission Fall and ordered a temporary closure. Mission Falls Trail is located east of St. Ignatius.

Man given 10 years for trying to steal Polson home

POLSON - The man charged with stealing a Polson home has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars.

Brent Wilson appeared in a Lake County courtroom on Thursday morning, facing three felony charges for breaking into a Polson house in 2009, changing the locks and then claimed he owned it.

Wilson was also sentenced for deceptive practices and tampering with public records information.

Ex-Griz Procter back in NFL, 4 days after being cut

MISSOULA - One former Grizzly that heard some bad news just four days ago, heard some much better news on Thursday.

The Miami Dolphins signed Corey Procter less than a week after cutting the offensive lineman.

The Dolphins cut center Jake Grove on Thursday, and brought Procter back to backup both the center and guard positions.

Dolphins Coach Tony Sparano said the former Grizzly's versatility is the reason he's back in Miami.
