DARBY - The Montana Highway Patrol is still investigating a fatal crash near Darby that happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Bitterroot.

Dispatchers say that a 17-year old girl was traveling north on Highway 93 near French Valley Lane when she lost control of the car.

The vehicle rolled over several times and the victim was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ravalli County coroner.

Authorities tell us that at this point it does not appear that speed and alcohol were factors in the deadly accident.
