SUN RIVER- Two men were transported to Benefis hospital in Great Falls after a rollover accident on Montana Highway 200 on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened about two miles west of Sun River and while the driver had to be extricated from the Chevy Avalanche, his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The Montana Highway Patrol says speed and alcohol were not factors in the wreck, with MHP Trooper Danny Sons saying that both men were wearing seatbelts.

"The driver doesn't remember anything until his friend was yelling at him. Looks like the driver may have fell asleep, then lost control of the vehicle and it rolled one-and-a-half times," Sons said.

The driver was transported via Mercy Flight helicopter while the passenger was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
