POTOMAC- Two people were seriously hurt after their car rolled near Potomac at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Montana Highway 200 near mile marker 18.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Paul Pfau said two people from Great Falls were heading north on Highway 200 and started to pass a car. Another car was coming at them and the driver overcorrected and rolled the SUV.

The man and woman inside, who were not wearing seat belts, were both thrown from the car. The woman was airlifted to the hospital and the man was taken by ambulance.

It's the third crash in three days where police said people were not wearing their seat belts and were thrown from their vehicles. Two of those accidents were fatalities.

Troopers want to remind people to leave plenty of time to get to their destinations, slow down and to wear a seat belt.
