HAMILTON- The Ravalli County Health department reports Thursday's Air Quality is rated Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, due to all the wildfire smoke that's been filtering into the Bitterroot Valley.

Health officials advise that people with respiratory or heart disease, the elderly and children avoid prolonged exertion.

The National Weather Service Office in Missoula reported on Wednesday that some of the smoke settling across Western Montana was coming from fires burning in Southeast Oregon and Central Idaho.
