LIBBY- A grizzly bear and bull trout analysis is required in the permitting process of the Montanore Mine.

The review will determine if the species will be affected by mining operations and could hold back the permit because there is a staff shortage at the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the agency conducting the review.

This analysis was handed over on July 8th and once officials complete the first phase they will answer public questions. Permitting is expected to be complete by mid-2012.
