POLSON - An Arlee teenage who is accused of stabbing his stepfather to death and injuring two others, has admitted to the deadly stabbing rampage, which happened last November.
Nathan Butler, 17, admitted to one count of deliberate homicide, attempted deliberate homicide and assault after police say he stabbed his stepfather John Fisher to death while critically wounding his mother Dacia Vollin. Another man, Theodore Perry, was also stabbed with a pocket knife.
Butler had originally pleaded not guilty, but he was back in Lake County District Court on Wednesday to change his plea.
Court officials tell us his change of plea is not part of any plea deal with the court. Butler's sentencing is set for Sept. 18.
