MISSOULA- Authorities say they have found the vehicle belonging to a Missoula man who was last seen on Friday, June 15th.
Missoula County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Jason Johnson says Matthew Charlick's silver 2003 Honda was found 14 miles up Miller Creek Road on Sunday afternoon.
Johnson says it appeared as though his vehicle got stuck off the side of the road and he walked away.
Missoula County Search & Rescue is conducting a search of the area where the vehicle was found and authorities are asking for information from anyone who may have seen Charlick in the Miller Creek area during the past week.
Missoula County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Bill Burt told us over the weekend that Charlick, 26, was last seen at the 3300 block of West Central Avenue in Missoula. Charlick apparently took his wallet but not his cell phone and didn't tell anyone where he was going.
Charlick is a U.S. Army veteran suffers from depression but has no reported history with suicide or unexplained absences according to the Missoula County Sheriff's Office.
There has not been any activity with his financial accounts since June 6, 2012 and authorities say there were not any recent cash withdrawals from his accounts prior to his disappearance.
Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Charlick is asked to call Missoula County Sheriff's Detective Jon Gunter at (406) 531.1756.
