BILLINGS - Tuesday will mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11, the day of the deadly terrorist attacks on the United States.
Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer encourages everyone to help a neighbor in need or volunteer for service activities.
In Billings a program will be held at City College, formerly the College of Technology, beginning at 7:30 am. The event will include sirens sounding in remembrance and the laying of wreaths. The memorial at City College has a 600-ft piece of steel recovered from the rubble of the World Trade Center.
Later Tuesday, at noon, a ceremony will be held on the courthouse lawn in downtown Billings.
