BILLINGS - Billings Police are investigating what appears to be an early Friday morning drive by shooting on Billings' southside.

Billings police Sgt. Neil Lawrence said that shortly after 5 a.m. Friday morning an 18-year old Hispanic male was shot in the abdomen while walking with another male in the area of Fourth Avenue South and South Broadway.

Uniformed officers and detectives are investigating the scene and searching for witnesses. We'll have more information on this developing story as information becomes available.
