WEST YELLOWSTONE- Every so often a video surfaces that reminds us just how dangerous it is to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

A video posted to YouTube on Aug. 4, 2012 by hacob258 shows a group of people approaching a bison. The video was reposted on the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce of Commerce Facebook page.

The video shows a group of tourists approach the animal, which then chases a child.

Yellowstone National Park spokesman Al Nash reminds people that these are wild animals and people should keep a safe distance from them.
