ANACONDA- The body of a missing 50-year-old Anaconda man was discovered Thursday in the Clear Creek area.

The body of Doug Stevens was discovered by his niece, Amy Mackey, and her husband, Brian, a short distance off a walking trail.

Stevens' mother reported him missing June 15 when she had not heard from him for two weeks.

Stevens suffered a mental illness and lived alone in Anaconda. Authorities said this was not the first time he has wandered off alone.

Authorities do not suspect foul play, however, the body was well decomposed when it was recovered.

Authorities say this case is not related to 37-year-old William Thomas Ukian Duncan, who went missing in the Dry Creek Area four days later and is still missing.

Duncan's DNA has been sent to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula and is currently being tested in the ongoing investigation of the pair of legs discovered north of Butte on the Moulton Reservoir Road.
