HELENA - A Butte man claimed a $10,000 Montana Millionaire prize Wednesday. Eddy Stewart bought the ticket at RD's Travel Stop on Harrison Avenue in Butte.
Stewart told Lottery officials that he and his wife didn't remember they had the ticket until they happened to read the numbers and he recognized the first three digits of one of the numbers.
"I was just at the gas station buying some fuel, and I picked up a Montana Cash and Montana Millionaire," he said.
He said he has no immediate plans for his winnings, but said he will probably use the prize to "buy something for the kids."
