BUTTE - Butte-Silver Bow law enforcement testified in court Wednesday for the murder trial of a well-known Butte man.
Jeremy Mata, 34, is on trial for the murder of 62-year-old Robert "Chicago Bob" Bajzer. In February 2011, Bajzer was found dead on a sidewalk of West Park Street.
Mata is accused of stabbing Bajzer several times in the upper body and was linked to the crime through DNA evidence. Half a dozen witnesses, including police officers, testified in Butte-Silver Bow County District Court this morning.
The Clerk of Courts office expects the trial to wrap up by Friday.
