BUTTE- Although rain put a damper on the festivities the last two nights, it didn't stop the Evel Knievel Days finale. The rain cleared up at around 7 p.m. and crews worked to dry the area where the grand finale was planned.

Although it got started about an hour late, crowds stuck around and cheered loudly as freestyle and BMX riders gave them a show on the final day of the festival. The Cannon Lady gave one last show for the festival, launching herself over the performance area into a waiting net.

Earlier in the day, roaring motors marked the start of the final day of this year's festivities, which concluded with live music by Guitar Jack starting at 10 p.m.

The excitement continued all day with some Evel Knievel Days favorites, including the Wall of Death, the World Famous Wallenda Skywalk, the Cannonlady and more. A car show also ran during the day.
