MARTIN CITY - The crowds were out in Martin City on Sunday to take in the finals of the 36th annual Cabin Fever Days bar stool races.
Participants race down this hill in homemade sleds, and first one to the bottom wins. Reporter Anna Cole drove "The Band's" sled - and for those worried, she made it down in one piece.
"We had a special guest driver...Anna! And she did awesome!! And we won! It was the first race we won!!"
Wilder is usually better when it comes to Cabin Fever days bar stool races, and participant Crazy Susie said it best, ""Well, we're all nuts - I think."
The races don't come without some risk, but that creates a lot of entertainment for spectators.
"They're just going down the track like crazy, and sometimes - boom, Right off the track," spectator Dillon said.
And no wonder - one of the categories in the finals was non-steerable. Other groups did include steerable, and open-class.
Anna decided to retire from her sled driving career as a champion after her winning run.
