BILLINGS - Boo at the Zoo has been a Halloween tradition at ZooMontana for about a decade.
"Seeing these kids in costumes having a good time, it doesn't get any better than that," said Jeff Ewelt, executive director of ZooMontana. "And again, that's what we're al about here at the zoo, is just creating a place for kids to have some fun, and we love it."
The kids and their families walk the grounds of the zoo to see animals and celebrate Halloween.
"We wanted to create, a fun safe atmosphere," Ewelt said. "Safest place to trick or treat in the town."
"To see the crowds that we have today and hear the kids laughing, and having a good time and mom and dad smiling, that does show me that ZooMontana is an important asset to the community," Ewelt said. "It needs to be here and that drives me to get out there and make sure that this facility is around here for generations to come."
