BILLINGS - Antique collectors say part of the fun in owning old items is the treasure hunt, and about 1,000 people came out to MetraPark for Huff's Antique Show and Sale, which is now in its 45th year.
About 50 dealers came from out of state and parts of Montana, and collectors came to find gems and add to their collections.
"People just like pieces of history," said Dan Huff, show promoter for Huff's Antique Show. "The different things, a book or something you remember from when you were a kid. The big part of it is the treasure hunt. When somebody comes along and says 'ooh i've been waiting for this, I've been looking around for one of these for years. And now I finally found one,' I feel as if I've done my job."
Huff's Antique Show continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MetraPark's Montana Pavilion.
