COLUMBIA FALLS- A Columbia Falls man received a suspended sentence after stealing a car, then wrecking it.

Police charged Brycen Farmer, 21, last October for stealing a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, which was found damaged in the ditch near Blackner Lane.

Farmer was originally charged with several felony counts, including theft, but today those charges were amended to Misdemeanor Criminal Trespassing.

Farmer pleaded guilty to the charges and was given a six month suspended sentence and must also , pay $2,000 for the stolen Pontiac's damages.
