Lewis & Clark County Undersheriff Dave Rau says the Corral Fire northwest of Helena in the Scratchgravel Hills is now estimated at more than 1,400 acres.
As of Tuesday morning, Rau says approximately 200 evacuations remain in effect and several roads in the area are still closed.
Rau says if homeowners need to get into their homes for medication or other emergency needs they need to be escorted by law enforcement.
