SEELEY LAKE- Fire officials have been able to make some good progress in fighting the Dunham fire, that's burning a mile northeast of Dunham Point, outside of Seeley Lake.

The blaze has burned a little over eight acres and is now 75% contained, with fire officials hoping to have the fire fully contained by late Wednesday.

Two crews, two water tenders and a helicopter are assigned to the fire that was sparked by lightning on July 22nd.

Center Ridge Trail 246 on the Seeley Lake Ranger District has been closed from the Monture Guard Station trailhead north to its junction with Center Creek Trail 463 because of the fire.

No structures or property currently threatened.
