MISSOULA- A father is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges for allegedly driving erratically, high on drugs, with his 4-year-old son in the car.
Christopher Allen Kohlman's several charges include DUI and three counts of criminal endangerment.
Prosecutors say on the afternoon of Oct. 2, an officer saw Kohlman heading westbound on I-90 and suddenly veer into the median to take the Reserve Street Exit on the other side of the freeway.
Witnesses also told investigators Kohlman drove the wrong way on Broadway to pass vehicles stopped at a light and he was reported running a red light at Mullan and Reserve.
Police learned Kohlman's neighbor was riding with him, but jumped out of the moving car as it headed for the interstate.
She said she was afraid of Kohlman's driving behavior and jumped out on the Van Buren on-ramp, but was not seriously injured.
An officer was able to cut off Kohlman at Mullan and Broadway and then arrest him.
Kohlman is now in jail on a $25,000 bail.
