GREAT FALLS - Dahl's College of Beauty is at the center of a lawsuit involving more than a dozen former students who claims they thousands of dollars in tuition fees and were sexually harassed.

Many plaintiffs claim they were expelled for filing complaints.

In all, 17 plaintiffs are listed in the suit against the cosmetology school, including 15 former students, a former director of the facility, and a former director of financial aid.

The student plaintiffs claim they were sexually harassed by their instructor.

The suit says she required students to wax and trim her pubic hair with supplies that were later used for customer haircuts.

They say that behavior was in addition to routine sexual remarks and being taught by unqualified, lazy instructors.

The plaintiffs who were once employees claim they were fired without good cause.

The defendants listed in the suit are owners Douglas and Barbara Daughenbaugh, reportedly of Corvallis, and registered agent Philip Belangie of Missoula.
