KALISPELL- The Flathead County Sheriff's Department and the FBI were able to find the subject of a Tuesday Amber Alert, Jasmine Walker, near the California/Nevada border, just south of Las Vegas on Tuesday evening.

Authorities say that during their investigation into the 12 year old's disappearance they discovered Jasmine developed an online relationship with 27-year-old Edgard Le of California.

They believed Le traveled to Montana and picked Jasmine up from her home sometime after 9 p.m. Monday night. Authorities say Jasmine was with Le and another unidentified man, when she was found by the FBI and that both men have been taken into custody.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday with Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says authorities were able to find Jasmine based off of other leads developed in the case.

"The conclusion of this case was primarily just based upon a joint-investigation by the FBI and our office. We did have the cooperation of the FBI in the Las Vegas and California areas and local departments down there. It's been pretty extensive. We worked pretty hard on it," Curry explained.

Details about just what transpired on Tuesday are still limited and we'll bring you more on this story as information becomes available.
