ANACONDA- The 3rd Annual Pintler Polar Plunge was held Saturday afternoon.

Team after team of people jumped into the icy waters at Silver Lake west of Anaconda as part of the Montana Law Enforcement's torch run to raise money for Special Olympics Montana.

Each plunger has to raise at least $100 to dive into the chilly water. All the proceeds stay in Montana and 60% of those proceeds stay in the Anaconda area.

The plunge drew a crowd waiting to see the costumes of those diving in and their faces once they hit the cold water.

The teams went all out by dressing up in many different ways; from mimicking Lady Gaga to wearing pig noses, and sporting duck shaped inner tubes around their waists.

The Anaconda Job Corps were also at the event serving free chili and hot chocolate to help people warm up.
