NEAR ROCK CREEK- The driver involved in a rollover accident Saturday night received two citations according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

Trooper Garrett Van Hoose said the man was driving too fast for the icy road conditions. The driver lost control around 8:30 just east of Rock Creek and his truck rolled into the median along Interstate 90.

His passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He received only very minor injuries. The man was transported to St. Patrick Hospital.

The driver was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured, though he did ride in the ambulance with the passenger.

Van Hoose said the passenger was very lucky he didn't receive any serious injuries.

The driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions and also given a no seatbelt citation because of his passenger.
