BUTTE- Despite a heavy rain-storm Friday night, the roar of hundreds of motorcycle engines could be heard throughout the mining city this evening.
"No. heck no were bikers. We're not scared of rain." Said Curtis Moen when asked if he was deterred by the rain.
No one believed the storm that rolled through Butte would shut down the annual Evel Knievel Days Loop.
The delay was short. Bikers wiped down their hogs and started their engines in front of the Finlen Hotel.
Over 350 bikers proudly made the loop down Montana Street and back up Harrison Avenue.
Saturday is the final day of Evel Knievel Days, but not to worry, festivities begin at 8:00 in the morning and wrap up at 10 p.m.
