EVERGREEN- A man was treated at Kalispell Regional Medical Center after allegedly being stabbed by a 16-year-old boy.

Flathead County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported stabbing around 3 a.m. Monday.

Two teenage boys, ages 16 and 17, were reportedly in the middle of Helena Flats Road and were confronted by two adult males.

The teens went home, grabbed Airsoft guns and hunting knives and returned to the adult males' home, police said.

Police said the men saw the teenagers outside and one man ran after them. That man was allegedly knifed in the abdomen by the 16-year-old teenager.

The boys have been released to their parents and charges are pending in the Flathead County Attorney's Office.
