KALISPELL- A veteran who is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), says he is guilty of abusing a woman with a developmental disability.

Terry Krause, 52, formerly of Kalispell is charged with felony Abuse of a Person with a Developmental Disability.

Back in March of 2011 Krause exploited a woman by having her write checks on his behalf to buy medications. Krause says he takes 15 pills a day for anxiety, depression, and nightmares.

He changed his plea to guilty on Thursday in Flathead County District Court and could face up to 10 years in prison and is required to pay around $18,000 in restitution over the next six years.

Krause, who now lives in Butte, will be sentenced August 23rd.
