MISSOULA- He championed campaign reform as a U.S. senator, and now as a private citizen he brought the same message to the University of Montana.
Former Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold criticized the U.S. Supreme Courts Citizens United ruling on campus Monday.
Feingold said he believes Montana is a real battleground against Citizens United, which opened the door for corporations to spend freely in elections.

Feingold spoke during a forum on Monday as part of the University of Montana President's Lecture Series.
