MISSOULA - An exciting morning that brought much-needed rain and snow showers to much of Western Montana has become more calm this afternoon. The showers have moved off to the east leaving the area under a mostly cloudy sky.
Clouds will thin out in northwestern areas overnight, while other locations will remain mostly cloudy. Lows will drop into the middle 20s to near 30.
Thursday will bring a partly cloudy sky with cool highs in the lower 50s. As our sky clears out Friday morning, expect the coldest lows we've seen so far this season. Most areas will see highs in the lower 50s under a mostly sunny sky.
The weekend looks very nice. Our sky will be mostly clear. Lows will range from 20 to 25 and highs will jump into the lower to middle 60s.
