MISSOULA - The child sex abuse experts say parents need to watch for people who prefer social relationships with children rather than adults.
A national organization "Stop It Now" helps people recognize signs of possible sexual abuse and how to take steps to prevent it.
During today's workshop, the organization's director recommended that parents make sure to teach their children about inappropriate behaviors.
She also said parents need to make sure not to watch rated "R" movies around their children.
And even though it's not always the case, parents need to watch for people who center most of their time around children.
"Work with kids, they volunteer with kids. They may not have adult relationships. They confide in kids-it's like their lives are sort of focused around kids," says Yvonne Cournoyer, Stop It Now Director.
