PRYOR- A man apparently shot by law enforcement on the Crow Indian Reservation Sunday night is in fair condition at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.
FBI officials confirm that they are investigating an officer-involved shooting.
While area residents tell Montana's News Station that the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday in front of the Pryor post office, the FBI is refusing to make any further comment on the case.
Witnesses tell MTN affiliate KTVQ-TV in Billings that Bureau of Indian Affairs officer Allen Plain Bull apparently got into a fight with Richard Martinez and that Martinez was ultimately shot.
Martinez was taken to St. Vincent Healthcare with non-life threatening injuries where he remains hospitalized.
