KALISPELL- The City of Kalispell is reminding and visitors this Fourth of July holiday that fireworks are prohibited within city limits.
Officials say that despite the wet spring and the recent record rains, fireworks still pose a fire threat in Northwest Montana.
Fire officials stress that where fireworks are permitted, folks need to make sure there is enough space to ignite them to ensure a fire won't start.
Officials also say it's important that adults supervise fireworks to cut down on the chance of fireworks related injuries.
