BELGRADE- Five people were taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital after a three-vehicle crash along Amsterdam Road on Wednesday morning.

The driver of a car traveling westbound crossed into the eastbound lane for unknown reasons and hit a truck and then struck the gold car, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

MHP is not sure at this time if alcohol or speed were factors and an investigation is underway.

MTN reporter Chet Layman says Summit Air Ambulance was leaving the scene as he arrived.

Amsterdam Road was closed at Business Hub Drive and traffic was rerouted around the scene to Thorpe Road.
