KALISPELL- A couple, arrested on child abuse charges, says they didn't do it.

In Flathead County District Court Thursday, both 20 year old Samantha French and 19 year old Nickolas Fox entered not guilty pleas.

According to court documents the child was picked up by her natural father on December 17th, when he noticed bruising on her face.

The child later began vomiting, was taken to the hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

After an examination, the child was found with bruises on her face and hand, hemorrhaging in both eyes, and bleeding on the brain. French told investigators she grabbed the baby's face when she wouldn't take a bottle.

French has since relinquished her parenting rights.
