KALISPELL - Late fees are a thing of the past for the Flathead County Library system, as part of recent re-branding efforts to change the community's perception of the library.
Along with eliminating late fines, it was announced over the weekend that the library system will now be called ImagineIF Libraries.
The idea behind the new name is to expand boundaries and change the library's physical space, services, programs, and attitude.
Launch week is underway, and includes a food for fines event. Even though ImagineIF Libraries are fine-free, they're still hoping to help out local food banks.
Customers can bring nonperishable food to clear any late fines and support the food banks.
