GREAT FALLS- It's the championship game in Class B/C softball in a game moved from Anaconda to Great Falls. The game was picked up with Florence leading Glasgow 2-1 in the third inning and the Falcons had their bats working right away.
A single scored Page Bodner to make it 3-1 Lady Falcons. Then later in the same inning Hayley Cole drove one to deep left center that dropped for a double, scoring Courtney Burne to make it 4-1 Florence. Cole scored a few pitches later when a bloop single brought her in for a 5-1, lead all in the first few minutes of the game.
The final saw Florence down Glasgow 7-3 and the Falcons won the state title for the sixth time.
