SUPERIOR- Mineral County Sheriff Ernie Ornelas says he doesn't believe foul play was involved in the death a Helena Valley man whose body was found near Superior over the weekend.
Michael Loftis went missing two weeks ago and Ornelas says the Mineral County Sheriff's Office found out Loftis was in the Superior area and that's when a search and rescue team started looking for him.
They found Loftis' body in his in his car on Saturday in a wooded area northwest of Superior. The cause of death is still under investigation and Loftis' body is now at the State Medical Examiners Office in Missoula for an autopsy.
