(MISSOULA)- Federal charges are being filed against four more suspects arrested in a crackdown on marijuana selling in Montana several weeks ago.

The four, all from Kailspell and Whitefish, were arraigned Wednesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah Lynch in Missoula.

35-year old Evan James Corum of Whitefish, 43-year old Jonathan Janetski, 24-year old Michael Kassner and 29-year old Tyler Roe, all from Kalispell, were among several people arrested across the state when federal officers cracked down on local medical marijuana clinics last spring.

The raids took place in several cities as the Drug Enforcement Administration, the IRS, Homeland Security and other agencies combined with local police in a case targeted at what investigators have tagged as a "conspiracy" to sell marijuana and hide the proceeds.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Fehr tells Montana's News Station Corum, Janetski, Kassner and Roe were all arrested under the federal search warrants served in the Flathead, as well as Helena, Bozeman, Billings and Missoula.

Like three Helena men charged last month, the four defendants from Flathead County are being charged with conspiracy to manufacture and distribute marijuana and money laundering. If convicted, they could face up to 40-years in prison with a minimum of 5-years behind bars and fines of as much as $5-million.

All four pled "not guilty". A trial date hasn't been set.
