GREAT FALLS- More than 150 gamers from all over Montana gathered for the Great Falls Gaming Rendezvous over the weekend.
There were board and card games, costume contests, forums, miniatures gaming, and a role-playing game (RPG) writers workshop.
Most of the activity took place at the Townhouse Inn and the featured guest for the event was "Cthulhu" Bob Lovely of Missoula.
Robert Thomson, co-chair of the event, said the idea started as a one-day game fair last year and turned into a three day convention this year.
"I am so excited. This is the third day, this is the last day, this is Sunday and we're packed. I go to a lot of other gaming conventions and such and a lot of them you don't see this many people still there on the last day," Thomson added.
