MISSOULA- Bullets flew through the air in a Missoula neighborhood on Tuesday night. While no one was hurt in the incident, police cited a young girl for firing a gun in a populated area.
Missoula 911 dispatchers received several calls shortly after 9:30 p.m., with reports of gun shots being heard near the 2000 block of Mount Street, and when officers arrived in the area they saw a girl come out the back of a house and fire a handgun into the air.
Police detained a number of people for questioning, all of whom have been released. But the girl who fired the gun was cited for negligent endangerment, which is a misdemeanor.
