KALISPELL - Some of the top wrestlers from Montana and across the United States are helping young wrestlers in Kalispell to get an edge in wrestling.

The program at Glacier High School runs Monday through Friday.

Athletes ranging from pee-wee to high school seniors took turns learning from some of the best wrestlers to come out of Montana.

Featured athlete Tyrel Todd was a three-time state champion at Bozeman High School, a three-time All American for the University of Michigan, and a 2012 U.S. Olympic Team hopeful.

Todd said the program is great to develop good wrestling skills, but it is also a good time for the kids.

"Some great technical instruction that we're doing with the kids, and then also doing some live wrestling and some games," Todd said.

"Summer wrestling is all about having some fun I think and getting better, but a camp like this, you're in one of the most beautiful places in the world really."

Several current and former Montana State wrestling champions attended the "Get the Edge" wrestling camp to help teach the competitors.
