Missoula Health Department officials say getting vaccinated against the swine flu should be on your list for New Year's resolutions.

Health information Officer Greg Oliver says that H1N1 is emerging again in several parts of the country with an increase in cases over the past two weeks.

The Health Department continues to offer its free vaccination clinics through the month of January at the fairgrounds. They're quick and free, and you can call 258-4636 to make an appointment.

And as a reminder, pregnant women, infants, children, adults to age 49 with chronic conditions and those community members of Alaska Native or American Indian descent are at the highest risk for complications from H1N1. And children nine and under who received a first shot need a second to be fully protected.

For more information contact the Missoula City County Health Department at (406) 258.4636, or visit their website by clicking here.
