MISSOULA - Thousands of people packed into downtown Saturday morning to watch the University of Montana's homecoming parade.
This year's Homecoming theme is "We are Montana," and students, alumni, faculty and fans came out to show support for the university.
The parade started on North Higgins and stretched all the way to University Avenue.
Participants included multiple high school marching bands, Greek life, and plenty of local organizations and businesses. And of course there was plenty of candy for the kids.
KPAX handed out taffy from the Sweet Palace and even gave some to our reporter on scene.
The parade ended around noon, leaving plenty of time for fans to get to Washington-Grizzly stadium.
