HUNGRY HORSE- A standoff between Flathead County deputies and a man in Hungry Horse ended peacefully on Wednesday night.
Deputies tell us two men were having a heated conversation about 5 p.m. on First Street West when one of them pulled a gun and fired several rounds at the other man.
While no one was injured, the shooter retreated to his trailer home along and refused to come out, forcing sheriff deputies into a standoff.
The man finally surrendered shortly before 9 p.m. and now faces initial charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon and criminal endangerment.
