MISSOULA - The hunt is on for the perfect Christmas tree across western Montana.
Friday marked the 31st year that Steve Adams of Adams Ranch and Trees hauled 4,000 Christmas trees onto the Rosauers parking lot in Missoula.
Adams says he had over 20 customers on his opening day and most of them were repeat shoppers.
"I recognized almost every customer already that has come in today. It's like our Adams family to the families of Missoula, it's really, really, nice."
He says 50% of his trees come from Montana, but added that his biggest seller is the Noble tree, which comes from the coast.
