A fire burning in Idaho is sending some smoke into the skies over Bitterroot Valley.

The Powell Complex fires are burning 37 miles southwest of Lolo in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness.

Lightning started the two fires last Sunday and they've burned close to 80 acres so far with fire managers saying the blazes have the potential to grow with hot, dry conditions ahead.
