MISSOULA- Investigators say they are following up on tips that they received about last Saturday morning's attempted rape, where two men reportedly stalked a Missoula woman and one of them later attacked her.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reports that the two men pulled up to the woman near Shopko and started harassing her. A short time later they caught up to her again on Spurgin Road and that's where the passenger got out, threw the woman to the ground and tried to rape her.

The victim said she pepper sprayed the man, ran off, and hit in bushes as the suspects continued to look for her. She eventually made her way home and called for help.

Investigators are also trying to track down surveillance video to help them identify the suspects.
